The biggest superpower in the world
The earth as we know it is made up of more than 190 countries each one having its own economy, government and ruling system. However one country is considered the biggest superpower with developed military, economic system, trade, astronomical institutes and scientific discovery hub.
The USA, the first country to put a man on the moon.
Currently the US’s GDP is 19.39 trillion with a growth rate of 2.3 % annual and a military expenditure of 610 billion USD of a yearly budget of 4.2 trillion USD. .
The US remains a superpower unquestionable in its influence followed by China which is expected to be the world’s next superpower.
The US has led wars in many countries and changed many world systems having the most influence on the globe. Lately the US has put off nuclear efforts in North Korea and is now working on a plan to denuclearize Iran. It has already invaded Iraq and Afghanistan during the few past years.
There is a belief in the American system that was created by a former president that the US has the right and moral obligation to interfere in the world to make it a better place, to build democracies, to create liberties and fight repression in other countries and it has been doing so ever since creating what they call the free world.
The US economy is unquestionably one of the most developed holding a GDP per capita of 53,500 USD.
It is home to most brands and Hollywood making its media the most powerful in the world thus the most influential.
The US is a democracy however it is argued that it's turning to an oligarchy due to all of the power held by lobbies of corporations and certain groups in the US.
It is to be noted that the US president holds the most power and can solely start a war by himself and is elected by the p
eople. Although it's not always the candidate with most votes that gets the seat due to the state’s electoral process. For example Hilary Clinton had more votes in the election than Donald Trump however he was elected president.
The US has two major parties dominating its political structure that is the democrats (left) and the republicans (right)
The US recently withdraw from Paris accord of climate change and is renegotiating trade deals across the globe. Its current direction is greatly questioned in the world under the Trump administration.
Although the US is the most powerful country and sometimes respected it has made many enemies in the world.
